The Body Shop Spiced Vanilla Hand Cream Review

I am obessed with washing my hands often. I need to use handwash everytime I wash my hands. Call me crazy, but I can't help it. This crazy activity of mine got even more worse after the baby came. I know what you are all thinking. Why can't I use hand sanitizers. Well I think, only when I use handwash I get a feeling of clean hands :P As I said can't help it. And the result of this, Super Dry Hands!! So I need good amount of moisturizer was needed. Earlier till the time I was working regular my regular body lotion moisturising was enough for me. But now, everything is different. All my activity is mostly around my kiddo and so my regular lotions do not work in giving the needed moisturising effect. So I was searching for a good hand cream, that is when I picked up The Body Shop Spiced Vannila Hand Cream.

Doesn't the name itself tempt you. It tempeted me for sure :P And the packaging, love it!!

What it claims:

This moisturising hand cream is scented with vanilla and a hint of spice. It helps to condition nails and leaves hands feeling softer and smoother.

• Moisturising
• Conditions nails
• No parabens

My Experience:

I got it during a sale at 50% off. Isn't that awesome. This is a Limited Edition product ( according to makeup alley)
Let me start by saying I love the smell. Its more of a spicy smell than  vanilla. Absolutely love it. Love the packaging. Love the tube packaging with flip cap.

The cream is not too thick or runny. Just right to use as a hand cream. I love how my hand feels and smells. It does make your hand soft. But moisturising effect for me is not satisfying. But when you use the cream regularly you will note that your hand becomes very soft. I totally loved it.

But it is quite expensive for the amount you get. I need to use it often. So just 30 ml tube will not even lost a whole month for me. I have got another hand cream so switch between the two. Since I dont want to finish it soon, use it very carefully. I love the smell and hope to get it if I find it again. I cant comment on its staying power. But I would recommend it to people who like some light cream to use. You do not have to worry about getting finger prints on all the products you touch. It gets absorbed completely.

You will need very little for both your hands.

Pros:
Love the smell
Love the packaging
Gives decent moisturizing
Gets absorbed into the skin easily
Makes skin soft
With regular use, skin feels soft.
Free from parabens

Cons:
Expensive for a 30 ml product considering how often we will use hand cream.
Limited Edition product.
Available only at TBS outlets

Nothing else. I am totally loving the smell and how soft it makes my hand. So I would mind shelling a few bucks to get it if it is available again :D

Price: Around 395 Rs. I got it on sale at 50% off.

Shelf Life- 3 years.

Repurchase:Yes!!!

Recommendation: Yes. If you don't mind shelling out Rs.400 for an hand cream. I promise you will love it. If you find it grab it :D

Hope you find this review helpful :)

Have a nice day.
