Online Shopping Experience: Fashion and You
This is my first online shopping experience. When I saw the ad about Faces Cosmetics sale in Fashion and You, I wanted to get some products. At the same time I was a little skeptical about shopping online. Also I read some not so good reviews about Fashion and You so I was in a dilemma to buy or not. Then when I saw the eye mask in the sale I wanted to get it. I have been searching for a good eye mask for a long time. Then Fashion and You had Cash on Delivery so thought I will give it a try.
Here is My Experience:
I am a member of Fashion and You for sometime now. I got a mail with info on the sale of Faces Cosmetics on June 5th. I ordered for the Relaxicon combo and a Lipstick. Which costed Rs 475 together. Then they added Rs.100 as shipping charges. So the total cost is Rs. 575. I chose cash on delivery as this was my first online shopping. Then I got a mail stating that my products will be sent only after verification and they will call within 24 hours. Likewise I got a call the next day and I was not available at that time. Then I got a message to call them back to verify the details. I called them and got my details verified. Again I got a message in my cellphone and email stating about delivery details. They also stated it will take around two to four weeks for shipping.
I verified my details on 6th june. I got an email on 20th June stating that my products have been dispatched. I got a message in my cellphone stating I will receive my package today or tomorrow through Blue dart. I got my package today afternoon.
This is what I got:
The relaxicon set contains a gel eye mask and cellulite massager for Rs.266.
I also a got a satin matte lipstick in Cordovan (03) for Rs.209.
It is a brownish pink shade. Very Creamy. The lipstick has started to melt and now I have stored it in the fridge. i really like the color.
Overall the experience was good for me with Fashionandyou.com.

Fabindia Honey and Milk Conditioning Shampoo for Kids Review
Hi everyone, I have been MIA for sometime now. Well my laptop went bonkers last week and I couldn't be regular to blogging. After I got the laptop got held up with a lot of work. Now I am back. Hope to post regularly from now on. Today I am reviewing Fabindia Honey and Milk Conditioning Shampoo for Kids.
What it Claims:
Creamy shampoo for kids helps condition dry and unmanageable hair leaving it soft and shiny.
Ingredients:
Price: Rs.225 for 100ml. I got 25% off when I purchased it.
My thoughts:
The reason I selected the shampoo for my son as it is free of sulphates and parabens. The shampoo is not really thick or creamy. It is watery and light cream in color. The smell is kind of caramel smell. It lathers well and washes away all dirt and oil. I oil my son's hair before shampooing. It does makes hair soft. Well he doesn't have much hair. It is neither dry. So it works good on his hair. I am quiet liking it. His hair stays soft till the next wash.
What I like:
Free from sulphates and parabens
Smells very mild.
Works in removing dirt and oil.
Keeps hair soft and manageable.
Easy to wash off doesn't need that much water.
This bottle is going to last long as it you will need very little amount if its for kids hair.
What I don't Like:
Well I do not have any cons about this shampoo. I am really liking it on my son's hair.
Will I re- purchase: Yes.Great for kids.
They have a range of body wash and body lotion in a variety of flavors. I have got body lotion is Black currant and I totally love it. They are also free from sulphates and parabens.Will review it soon.
PS: Yes I did try it on my very own hair and it did clean well. But it does not work on the conditioning part. Well it is for Kids : p

Aroma Magic Glossy Pack Review
This is for Varshini and Bhumika :)
I went to get the mineral glow scrub and the SA said this Glossy Pack works great on Pigmentaion and dark circles. I suffer from pigmentation post pregnancy. The work stress is making it worse. Right now searching for good products to get rid of it. So when the SA said it works wonders I had to get it. The Price of the Glossy Pack is Rs. 215 for 50 gms. I got is for Rs. 209.
What it Claims:
A special formulation of essential oils & herbal extracts that lighten pigmentation, dark circles around the eyes, acne scars & skin tone.Also helps to brighten dark & sallow complexion.
Directions for use:
To lighten pigmentation apply on the pigmented areas and scars for 20 minutes and rinse off. To lighten dark circles apply Under Eye Gel or Seaweed Pack under the eyes, then apply Glossy Pack. Leave on for 20 minutes and rinse off. For sallow complexion apply on face and rinse off after 20 minutes. Apply Aroma Magic Fairy Lotion, Sunscreen and Almond Moisturizing Lotion.
My thoughts:
The packaging is simple. It is a wet pack. The pack is a dark green pack. The smell is somewhat herbal. The smell is not overpowering. The pack is not thick or watery. So it is easy to apply. It dries very quickly. Removing the pack is a pain if you are going to use water. The best way to remove the pack is with a wet sponge. Since the face pack contains essential oils it is not drying.
Well according to me it is an average product. It gives a nice glow to the face. But it does not remove the pigmentation or dark circles. When you use the face pack regularly the pigmentation seems to reduce. When you miss to use it even a day, the pigmented areas looks dark. So it does not lighten the pigmentation completely.
What I Like:
Easy to apply.
Dries off quickly.
Does not dries out the skin.
Smell is not strong.
Suitable for all skin types.
Makes your skin bright.
Gives a nice refreshing look.
What I don't like:
Does not remove pigmentation or dark circles.
You will need lot of water to remove the pack. You can use a wet sponge to remove the pack completely and then wash your face.
Some may not like the oily feel it gives after washing the face.
I think the price is high for a 50 gms pack as it does not give promising results.
Will i repurchase: No. Does not do the work it promises to do.
