MaxFactor Colour Elixir Lipstick Rosewood Review and Swatches

Hi beauties,

I am back with another lipstick review. This time it is the MaxFactor Colour Elixir Lipstick in the shade Rosewood. I saw this swatch at wiseshe and loved the color and I knew I had to get it.  What attracted me more was the gorgeous golden packaging. It looks oh so lovely when I see it with my other lippies. This is one of my expensive lippies too :D

All these lippies come with a transperant end that shows you the color of the lippie. Just like the NYX and Colorbar ones. I loved the packing very much. Its quite sturdy and no issues while taking it with you for travelling.

The lettter 'X' is engraved on the lipstick bullet and I find it very cute. The color is a gorgeous brownish pink with minute shimmers. I think its more on the pink side. I really like it. This particular shade will look different on different skin tones. 

On my skin tone it comes more pinker and still I love it. Its really pigmented and moisturizing. I have dry lips and still it did not dry up my lips without a moisturizer. Staying power is also awesome. It says around 4 to 5 hours on me, which I think is really good :)

The only con is the price. Its priced at Rs.670 (ouch!!) Absolutely worth it. You can get this at much lesser price at Stylecraze.com. Right now they have only two shades. Hope they add in more shades soon.

Rosewood is a gorgeous shade and will work on many skin tones. Its a gorgoeus MLBB shade on fair to medium skin tones.

On me it goes more on the pinker side. Hey I am lipstick lover and already have many ways to make it a everyday shade :P

Overall I love the formula and I am already planning to get Mulberry and Burnt Caramel.

Recommendation: Yes of course. Get it. Though expensive, the formula is amazing. I am sure you will love it :)

Repurchase: Do I need to even answer this?? Yes!!!!
